Kevin Dewayne Lee

This is about a young man who became ‘highly unpopular’ with law enforcement officials in West Texas and yet he had never been proven guilty of anything. As a result of the abuse Kevin was wrongly convicted of all charges.

It is possible that this persecution was due, in part, to Kevin being a deeply religious person in the community. Kevin was also helping transients and addicts find shelter in the county, people the law enforcement community despised and took issue with what Kevin was trying to do. Kevin himself was also recovering from alcohol and substance abuse that he’d developed as a teenager and suffers from a rare genetical disorder that directly affects his central nervous system.

Kevin has a wife and four daughters and moved to West Texas in 1993, he is a Christian and loves the church. Kevin loves young people, taught Sunday school, served in the church as a young minister, travelled around the state endeavoring to help young people, had a loving family and friends in the community, is a good and loving father to his daughters, a loving son to his mother, a business man and a caring individual who is loved by all who knows him.

Kevin is not a lawyer, he’s a prisoner who wants to mount a fight against one of the most hostile agencies ever - the West Texas Criminal Justice System. These people have a history of being violent and overly aggressive towards the accused and criminals. Having spent years inside the system fighting the injustices against human beings nobody is better at what he does. For Kevin, his time in prison is a 'proving ground' as he is consumed with ideas and thoughts of how he can personally establish a privately funded effort to make changes and improvements to the system. It is, he thinks, nothing less than his destiny. Biblical Joseph was also falsely accused of sexual assault and sentenced to prison but look what happened, he later became Prime Minister second only in command to Pharoah and helped save millions of lives during a famine, that’s what Kevin believes his situation is all about and he now wants to save prisoners and their families who have been wrongly convicted or unfairly treated in the criminal justice system. Will you help him do it?

Kevin doesn’t possess great wealth nor extensive political connections. He wants to be backed by a million dollar grant. Kevin’s mission is to over-turn wrongful convictions. The plan is to go timidly where no man has gone before. He wants to enlist law firms and private investigators to help solve the many problems prisoners and their families are facing in Texas. Your donations of 100, 1,000 or 10,000 $ would go directly to those whose services are needed.  You can contact Kevin by writing him directly at:

This is the story of a county who went on a witch hunt and Kevin was the witch. They beat him the day of the arrest. They treated him worse than a dog. To them Kevin wasn’t fit to live. They scared this dude to death, that’s why he was bleeding from his butt, this case could be likened to the New York City controversial case involving police officers and a night stick. Kevin did escape but he just wanted to save his life. Kevin was falsely accused of sexually assaulting a 17 year old girl. Tempers flared and a mob of angry men with blood in their eyes descended upon his home. What happened next was so perverse, outrageous and unconscionable that it would shock the conscience of most people. Due to this abuse Kevin was severely traumatized. They persecuted this young man and even though Kevin had them he was too scared to know it. I guess when you’re the sheriff’s department in Texas the law doesn’t apply to you?
