Hello, I hope this missive finds you well.

Attention to all lawyers who specialize in “ineffective assistance” cases.

I am seeking legal assistance due to Arizona having closed all of the law libraries in its D.O.C. system. I need help in getting my sentence overturned from ‘natural life without the possibility of parole’ to a lower sentence.

My issues are as follows:
Convicted Of: First Degree Murder
Sentenced To: Life Without The Possibility Of Parole
1. The judge aggravated my sentence by using a police report and the prosecutor’s deliberately misused the police report. The judge stated, “based on your prior instance of violence involving weapons this court has to give you natural life without the possibility of parole”.
2. “Ineffective Assistance of Counsel” due to my trial lawyer turning down the first plea without even notifying me that it was ever offered from the prosecutor.

The second plea offer (which I thought was the first plea offer) my lawyer only informed me of half of the plea deal and stated “you’ll be a young man when you get out”. What he neglected to tell me was that the prosecutor had forwarded him a faxed letter saying that I would get “second degree murder…. no less than 15 years in prison. If the defendant is convicted of first degree murder the state will seek life without parole”.
3. I do not have the money for an attorney. However, I would like to set-up a bank account specifically to raise money for one. If you are aware of a way I could set-up and open a bank account please contact me at the below address.
If you feel able to assist me, or know of someone that could be of some legal and/or financial assistance to me, please forward me their contact information or request that they write to me directly.

I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to read my missive and look forward to any blessings that come. God bless you.

Sincerely

Victor McKaney,#128492
